Yes Yes! We’re back once again with a special series of Kongkast. For the month of June, we’re going to be bring you Five exclusive mixes from Five different Deejay / Crew in representing the city of Dresden in Germany as we continue our expedition through the German bass music landscape. To begin our special Month of Dresden Series, we have invited a well-respected all-round deejay - T.Low Rock (Buschfunk / Dresden, Germany).
Having discovered music in the East Germany – GDR days, T.Low Rock started his journey through music at the age of 13, and started his deejaying career with tape decks at school parties around the year 1989. Throughout the many years, T.Low Rock has been influenced by lots of different genres from Old School Electro, Rap, Hip Hop and early Breakbeat, some Funk and Soul, later in the 90′s Downbeat, Jungle and Drum’n'Bass. Having such diverse interest and influence since his early days, T.Low Rock alongside good friends and Dresden Music Figures STUDIO17 and ARND have been running their own radio show since 1993 called “Buschfunk”.
