Released today (or yesterday). I really dislike synths that cater to genres, but the GUI and features looked interesting enough to catch my attention. Trying the demo out, but it's way too small! Or my monitor is just too big... don't think it uses VST3 as it doesn't seem resizable.
Anyway, prepare for a few hundred tunes coming out with preset abuse in the coming weeks. Massive Brutal Electro round 2 engaged.

1. We don't.
2. Companies like making money.
3. Different synths have varying degrees of flexibility, ease of use, etc.
I know what Attila means, very rarely does a softsynth come out that brings something unique to the table. Most of them are just clones/filler subtractive VAs with different interfaces.

Which is something thats pretty depressing tbh. I know theres still plenty of room for advancements. (how about a granular sampler that detects the pitch of the loop and scales the loop size in perfect tuning to the keys being pressed and allows several waves at a time for a wavetable type shifting as well)
This plugin actually seems impressive from the features I was able to notice.

But it's recommended by PEACHES AND BIOHAZARD!
(seriously though that might be the oddest list of musicians to cram together in one sentence)
heh marketing these days seems to be like a shotgun rather than targeted... as long as we hit a few who cares about all we miss or put off in the process
Interface looks like the interface from that aeph nightrider track's video, like fiddly knobs and lights in some packed space ship, I'm good with that. I hope this thing does have a demo, I'd like to play around.
tried to program some synths....felt like trying to learn Phase Distortion Synthesis. i was left scatching my head. i got some cool sounds but had no idea what i was doing.
