Good audio interface for sampling vinyl
I got some really cool reggae records on vinyl that I want to sample. So what I want is to connect my Sony turntable to my Macbook Pro through a Technics amplifier. I figured I'd need a USB Audio interface for that, but does anyone have a suggestion about what a good USB audio interface would be? It has to be not too pricy yet good quality.

Re: Good audio interface for sampling vinyl
You wont need them plugged when your sampling though. Do you produce as well? If so might be worth looking at getting something like a saffire 6 or for a budget interface you could grab an esi maya 4in/4out for around £60 new

Yes I want to sample the records to use them in my productions. But you're right, I don't have to use the speakers and the turntable simultaneously but it would make it a lot easier if I could ;p Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have a look at both interfaces (:benjaminC wrote:You wont need them plugged when your sampling though.
