BLOC cancelled

This just happened, BLOC shut down because too many people onsite. Snoop dogg cancelled and venue is being closed down by police. Feeling for the punters and organisers alike. Can anyone shed light on what went wrong, and if saturday is still on?

One of my mates queued up for 3 hours to get in and the rest of the gang got locked outside. went in by himself and queued another 3 hours to see fuck all.

Yeah I would be Livid. Hopefully the alteast got out of the chaos. I guess JamesHK was right about it being a half finished shamble of a venue.

i was actually looking at how much plane tix cost/fantasizing about going to this

good thing i would never spend $1000 on this sort of thing b/c if i did... there's no refunds for plane tickets

I've heard the ticket scanners stopped working and they weren't checking tickets, word got out all you needed was a copy. We won't know until the statement obvs.

Can confirm this as my mate said he didn't get searched or ticket checked. Could this be one of the main reasons why there were bare people if friends of friends kept passing tickets?
