Micah N. Drops new track - All Night (Dubstep)
Hey so I have just started producing dubstep and would love some feed back. Also I am still trying to think of a good name to go by if you have any ideas let me know.

Re: Micah Drops new Dubstep track
How long have you been producing for? If you want to improve, work on your sounds.
Re: Micah N. Drops new track - All Night (Dubstep)
I have only been producing for about 3 weeks but I spent every day and all night working on it.

I think this feels like a great track!
When the drop hits and such, the wobble feels a little weak, maybe layer it with three different octaves?
Also It sound slike the sounds behind it(background wobbles) were a bit overwhelming to the main Lead wobble and just sound a little off beat maybe?
Anyway, I really like the beat and sound of this, sounds sick!
Just throwing in my 2-cents!

Cool. How are you going about learning? Experimenting, youtube, google, magazines, books?
Re: Micah N. Drops new track - All Night (Dubstep)
I think the two wobbles sound disjointed together and you'd be better off to choose one and then layer it with a sub bass line. This isn't terrible, a lot of peoples early stuff can be bad.
My advice is keep banging out songs. Whatever you use to make your songs, keep it simple. Don't use dozens of tools and have no amazing results, rather use a few select tools and learn the ins and outs.
What do you use?

That version definitely sounds sharper, Your ideas aren't even bad dude, as you make more tunes and you improve on the production aspect you'll be solid.
For now I'd say make the drums more powerful by boosting with an EQ. You can get tips on that from those computer music tutorials. I learned from the Chase & Status one tbh, but all of them essentially go over the same thing. At least the ones I've seen for dnb and dubstep tend to.
When you watch those, don't take their "creative" methods as law, just look out for engineering aspects and learn how to incorporate them into your tunes.
