How to make this snare?

I guess it's a cross between a rimshot and snare, maybe layered... out of all of my samples of snares and rimshots i cannot get this snare sound..

Sounds just like a rimshot to me.. keep hunting for natural samples, or gank one from another dubstep tune, like the one, at the end:

but every second snare in the tune you posted has that rush of air beforehand giving it a bit more body. You can try reversing the sample --> adding reverb --> then reversing it again to get a reverse reverb.

Yep - Psy Chill

This guy has some unique sounds,..thought I would like to try to get some of his drum sounds, though they sound quite unique and hard to acquire. Lots of dirty rimshots.

any thoughts on how to get that bouncy ,richochet - delay effect on the later snare beats.. ?
