So I dont listen to much dubstep Skream,Benga,Burial is all I know please recommend me more please .
anyways I hate brostep and can someone answer some questions for me. is excision brostep? and why isnt he hated on here like skrillex come on his music is chainsaw high pitched bull shit and has no bass. and also I like feed me's song "relocation" I know its not dubstep but I hate all his other songs on that ep. but is feed me hated on here also? just wondering why arent many artist hated but only skrillex I mean mt eden skrillex excision datsik are all random noise bullshit and not much people hate on them why?? am I missing something?

dsf doesn't 'hate' anyone, they're just greatly in favor of artists like Loefah, Mala, Distance; and since these new friends like those you mentioned kinda mucked up the scene, there is that disdain. You won't catch anyone here saying they HATE any 'bro' artists, because, frankly, it's in bad taste, just as bad as a 'bro'-fan saying heady shit isn't dubstep because there aren't sounds of robots fucking.

Plus, Excision and DatsiK used to be KILLER.

I don't think many people here actually 'hate' skrillex, he's doing his thing, if we don't like it then we won't listen... but some people on here may get a little pissed off at the amount of people coming here and expecting this to be a forum about that kind of music, which it isn't. I can see why that might come across as dsf members 'hating' skrillex/other brostep producers but I think the majority of people here aren't complete pricks haha

Does it really matter who hates what? I like most of Feed Me's stuff, I don't like Excision, but I don't speak for the rest of the forum. We're not the fucking Borg lol

As for getting into more dubstep, the best place to start is always volumes 1-5 of the Dubstep Allstars series. That'll give you a pretty thorough education on the foundations of dubstep and make it easier for you to dig deeper.
