Alright guys,
I'm flying to berlin, potentialy budapest, to travel around eastern europe, no plan other than go there and see what's happening. I'm using the trains as my mode of transport.
Can any body suggest any specific area's/places, clubs, bars or events that they have been to, heard about that were worth while?
I know everybody has different preferences and whether someone enjoys something is subjective but regardless... if anyone could recommend anywhere or anything, it'd be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
going around europe (berlin into east)... recommendations?

lake bled in slovenia is great if you like the outdoorsy stuff.
As for a night out, belgrade was probably the best place i went to, everything dirt cheap and everyone really friendly- budapest was pretty good too

I travelled round Europe last summer and it was great. Didn't really go very far east, except for Croatia for Outlook so I can't give you speicific advice, but in general...
-Trains are nice if you can afford it
-If not, hitch hike! I hitched most places and it was so good. Fun, free, meet interesting people...
-Try and meet some ninjas. They're nice people.
-Couchsurf.org is your friend
-If you can't find any couchsurfers, find a park/nearby woodlands, tie your shit together and then tie it to your wrist for security and Bob's your uncle.
-Get a hammock. My mate had one and I was mad jealous when he was drifting away in the trees as I huddled on the floor.
-Don' take your girlfriend if she can't deal without hotels....Trust me.
