Re: Please rate my remix
Starts off promising enough but from 20s it's just a mess of midrange bass. The sample gets lost below the synths, and the drums are lacking any real prescence to cut through the noise.
Re: Please rate my remix
Yea your right, thanks for that. This song has been doing my head in

Re: Please rate my remix
cleaned it up a bit, anyone else?
Re: Please rate my remix
Sounds very very messy man. Drums lack presence like stated above, and the midrange seems very harsh and kinda hard to listen to.

I really like your ideas but as people above said, the mix needs a lot of work - specifically on the drums
I think you'll be a really good producer once you get the technical stuff down, you have some cool ideas

Re: Please rate my remix
Thanks mate, appriciate the advice, any chance you can you put me in the right direction to a tutorial for that?
Re: Please rate my remix
The Production forum has some good topics on EQ. Basically think of each element of the tune as occupying a certain frequency range. If you have too many elements fighting for the same frequency, they'll clash and muddy the sound.
Re: Please rate my remix
Makes sense, Thanks wub I'll have a look.
