who's feelin it? saw baraka son sistema at exit, good shit! everyone went crazy for it. reminds me a bit of grime and dancehall, it has that kind of underproduced sound to it, nice and raw. keep your eyes peeled!

ah great, nice that it's spreading!
kuduro is probably older than grime, i remember being bombarded by it for at least 10/12 years and i know it's older than that...
on the overall it's really underproduced, buraka on the other hand started using basslines + other elements from other styles and gave it more studio work that's one of the reasons that they stood out...

just checked that buraka som sistema are playing at the bestival make sure you guys check them because they're sick!

I'm really digging this stuff at the moment, the buraka EP has been on repeat nonstop for the last 2 weeks.. Would really like to hear some more angolan stuff though, raw but such a good sound! Anyone got any pointers or been to any nights in london(or the south) to recomend?
