reminds me of a game intro tbh.
i would keep the pads in at the minute mark, maybe change them up
keep your high hat rollin too, they would really spice this up.
over all get rid of all the static and this is a nice chill track

ill give you a cool trick i use sometimes.
find yourself a vinylizer vst and throw on a high pass filter with a little reverb and have it playing as ambince throughout.
not too high so it doesnt over power the rest of the track, but enough to add a little space/ambience to it.

Cheers dude, all the vinyl distortion things ive used just play constantly even when nothings playing in the mix, really annoys me, but guess you could just save it right till the end and slap it on?
