Post by BonerJams04 » Thu Aug 16, 2012 4:14 am

how would i go about screwing a song? would i just toss the wav in FL and slow it down?

sounds like the vocals were pitched down, then the whole track was stretched. try pitching stuff down so it slows down like a turntable. or get the record and play it in the strong playback speed. granular stretching can really screw things up too.

There are many more ways you can "screw" a song. Try bitcrushing different parts of it or maybe even pitch some parts up. Or maybe gate a bunch of your tracks?
It only depends on how creative you get with what you have. Cheers!

Just pitch it down, preferably on turntables or CDJs. DJ software would work too I guess. Do a lot of hard cutting with the crossfader and/or loop points.

2003? You're a little late there. At any rate people are still making it now.
