still in early stages. any feedback/ideas/comments would be appreciated. quite dark and twisted really. think surgical procedures and flat-lining blips

Like the orginal sound man - i am a big fan of glitch IDm stuff and its always cool to see this branch of dubstep develop!
first thoughts (for what they're worth) snare needs to sound more snappy. maybe layer some other crunchier snares on top? Or bring up the midrange maybe - over compression perhaps? Bass drum could do with a little lift maybe.
Good glitchiness when it kicks in and there is real strong low frequency stuff going in the glitchy bass - good synthy sounds for sure
Like it!
I just posted up some (more traditional

tracks if you wanna listen?

oi nice. i like the bass. quality production as well. not really feeling the synth, it could be phatter or deeper. also you can remove the bleep at the drop (since you have it on the intro) then bring it back in. but thats just what id do. by all means do your thing, just my opinion. (which is worth nothing lol)
im feelin the drum and bass a lot tho. keep it up mang!!!!!

cheers for the comments so far people--all of which has been taken in to account.
i did try and remove the blip after the drop originally but the whole groove of the track sort of disappeared. i think i need something to replace it to keep that offbeat dub feel. glad t least are few are feeling this--i was at first but then it's impact wore out quite quickly after hearing it for too long consecutively.
and thanks mr drum syndicate---i do belive i posted a 320 for the original (o-d-d) on here a while back. ill pm ya

newer version
http://www.zshare.net/audio/3702418c200435/
i completely changed the whole sound of this and i know the intro drags on abit but i have plans to make this tune quite long to jusitify the intro length.
want really feeling my changes to it for a while but gave it a break and im starting to come round to the ideas.
any thoughts or suggestions on how its sounding now greatly appreciated

Hey man, just checked the cut...some constructive criticism?
- put some swing in it...the beat is very rigid and doesn't move me
- refine the sounds...the snare is sounding better than the previous version, but some of the other sounds are a bit weak.
Otherwise I think you have a decent beginning.
Just my 2 cents...

I would agree here, how about some glitch in the actual break as well? I think there's a bit too much mid in the kick, there should be slightly more low end. The snare needs to sound alot thicker, it's too too thin for my liking. Maybe layer another snare on there. There's a second bass you bring in towards the end where it conflicts with the first bass, you should get that fixed definently. The synth bass work is sounding really nice though, just needs that fatness. Use compressing techniques and shit. If you're lost on that look
here.
Bare in mind, I'm not being patronising in anyway. Just trying to help

nice one for checking it. that beat definately needs alot more work, swing and glitch. chances are i'll completely chage the beat and hits all together. and as for the thicknesss/fatness etc i'll definately get onto that but i usually leave most of the eq bits until the actual track is finished. probably not a good way of doing it actually. appreciate the ideas and tips etc. if anyone has any suggestions on structure i'd appreciate it. noice one.

Nah, that's the way most people do it. It's not such a bad idea I usually eq to a reasonable amount when doing the structure, then at the end I properly do it.
If you got time check out my track
Here.
Cheers again, Amo
