CUBASE SX3 LATENCY/BUFFER PROBLEMS - PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!
I have just been given sx3 & can't get any MIDI or audio into it without having a massive (abouy 1 second) delay, which makes it impossible 2 do anything really
I know that my usb keyboard is set up o.k, cos' i don't have this problem using Reason, can someone give me a clue please?? Hit me back soon cos' it's driving me mental!!! Nice one people, peace + sunshine...>ANTIHERO<

device => device setup => midi => all midi inputs => click yes in preferably all devices mentioned there (esp where it sez midi in
)
then next tab: default midi ports => select all midi inputs
then next tab: windows midi => check if appropriate devices are set to 'yes'
if you have another remoite device connected, check those settings too, cuz they migth have had some fight over something...
for latency: check audio-card settings, not midi
device => device setup => VST Audiobay => and check your soundcard-settings from there. decrease latency till you're about to hear the glitches+distortion
but specify "can't get any MIDI or audio into it"
