Is there a 16 Bit sample pack?

Post by BYTEME » Fri Aug 31, 2012 3:30 am

I really love the sound of 16 Bit's drums. ESPECIALLY the kick in their song "In The Death Car." It was a very natural sound but kicked very hard almost like an 808.
I didn't hear almost any mid-range frequencies, and no upper-mid range frequencies. It was like air and infra-sub bass perfectly together to form that kick..

So is there any sample packs that have the drums used by 16 Bit? Or does 16 Bit completely ALWAYS make their own samples?

I just REALLY love that kick, regardless of it's simplicity!
Keep progressing, one day you'll be great. :)

I thought you were talking about 16 bit samples, like opposed to 8 bit and 24 bit. The kick in the song sounds pretty generic, I don't have much to say about it. But what you would do is try different samples and EQ, Comp, etc.
