Lately i've found producing to be VERY BORING. I don't know why, but I havent been able to finish a track for the last 6 months, simply because everything i make seems to lack either quality or originality. People have recommended listening to others' songs, but it honestly just makes this problem worse for me. I have literally over 1000 songs which i've spent an hour on then hated it and started over. Anyone else go through this and have advice?

hm are you sure you produce in the genre you love
maybe try playing an instrument instead of starting a tune,
it will help you get a feel for music again instead of making you angry and burned out

Just forget about genres entirely just start making beats with random samples you find one time i used a ducks quack for where a snare would be never finished the track but it got the creative juices flowing
