Can't remember the last time I even opened Massive th :?

Synth1 is extremely versatile and freeware ( if I'm not using my Darkstar)

I usually make electro-ish stuff, not so heavily modulated so for that I'd definately say Sylenth1 just because it sounds good.

Yeah I use Synth1 a lot, also Lusus occasionally. I've been playing around with samples more recently though.

Rez is also a badass.

There's a blue synth I can't remember the name of.
The drive on the filter is amazing.

Edit - Kairatune
The drive is glorious.

Camel Audio Alchemy, which is now basically my go to synth come to think about it.

Often I'll bounce out a single sustained note from something like Massive, load it into one of the sources within Alchemy, then layer other samples and oscillators within Alchemy over this. Essentially utilising Alchemy as a hybrid sampler / soft synth and able to manipulate all sources as one sound.

Cannot wait for Alchemy 2

I just make a nice and fat reese on Absynth or Massive and bounce it, Kontakt and resampling do the rest of the work.

resampling is helpful. i play stuff through my old outboard bass effects and resample it into maschine. amazing what that can do in a short amount of time.
