Collaboration

Post by Cyren » Wed Sep 05, 2012 6:32 am

Hi,

Maybe some producer here is interested in making one or more tunes together or just learning new stuff from each other?
Considering the best case you should...
- be making dancefloor oriented tunes, no skrillex or too poppy-stuff but definitely 'filthy'.
- be at least on the same production level as i am (check http://soundcloud.com/cyrenmusic to get an impression)

If anybody is interrested feel free to contact me on Facebook or Soundcloud (Links in signature).

I don't know if you meant that sarcastic but I did a quick listen and really like your tracks, i don't think that would be an issue. It's just a totally different style.

I was taking the piss as i think it is a bit arrogant saying "(you must) be at least on the same production level as i am", but as you are being nice about my music i'll stop being bitchy.

What if someone has great ideas/ musical talent but not a great grasp of mixdowns? These would be the people i would want to work with.

True, i didn't want to come of as arrogant when i wrote that. Its just the case that lately there are many new people who have no musical experience calling themselves Dubstep DJs/Producers - especially when it comes to filthy dub and FL Studio. That said, i see nothing wrong with that. I just don't think that collaborating would work out very well or help anyone, that kind of was my point. However, as i considered my preferences only to be the best case (not you must) anybody is free to contact me.
