It's not like he dislikes Vivek or something.

To me, these guys are the most criminally underrated groups. IMO, they strike gold on both production and lyrical value. Perfect combination of the two. They've been around for a while now but not very well known. Huge fan of all their works. Mostly on Botanica Del Jibaro, City Centre Offices and Hometapes

I really really rate 50 Cent , once you look past all the "commercial " crap he gets linked to he has very solid rhymes

Re: Real hip Hop.
Its funny how things go- Hip Hop had a good run in club land and certainly the golden era of 86-90 (when so much great music in so many genres emerged) was a GREAT time- when Rave hit a lot of peoople jumped off the Hip Hop scene and of course missed some great music the Pete Rock, Das EFX, Ultra, Cypress Hill, Hardknox, Brand Nubian, Leaders of the new school, Lords of the underground, Wu etc
Anyways fast forward to today........
For upfront underground independent as well as classicHip-Hop and related beats check the Funk by Funk Radio show Mondays 10pm til 12am on Inspirationfm.com the frst hour is usually when this stuff gets played
