Steve Duda, the guy who did Massive's Dimension Expander has made it available as a free plugin.

As far as I know, he didnt make the dimension expander in massive, he just copied it and made it a VST. :)

Yes that's what happened. The effect is basically an emulation of an out of phase chorus unit that Roland released in the late 70s called Dimension D. There's a few plugin emulations of it around.

nice to know, I love that massive fx but I never use it on my mid range because of possible phasing issues on the 100~150hz area. Thanks op.

That may be, either way it's really effective imo. Fast results and I think it sounds good.

Its 4 static delays in parallel, all with offset times and tremolo on their outputs, mixed 180 out of phase in the L-R (so the effect is completely cancelled if you sum your mix to mono)

How do you know this? Also, if it's different delay times it's not gonna be cancelled, is it.
