Dark bass track?

Hey , was working on a track to entertain myself during boaring school let me know what can use some improvement , cheers

Snare is a bit on the flat side, could do with either some layering or more reverb to give it some staying power in the mix. Intro is a bit too repetitive early on without a whole lot happening.

Second half of the tune just sounds like a repeat of the first...could do with a beat switch up or some new element coming through to give it some variety.
