It's been 2 years since Sussex Bass Society was formed, and what better way to celebrate and begin what will undoubtably be our best year yet, than to throw an extra special party!
On Thursday 18th October, we're going to be bringing you Ashburner a.k.a. Core to Sticky Mike's in Brighton town. Joining him will be local selectors Harbinger, East Court, and Thieves.
Expect to hear the full range of what we call bass music... from HOUSE and TECHNO, to UK FUNKY and GARAGE, all the way to DUBSTEP and GRIME.

Probably most well known for his work as part of Goli & Ashburner, he's also begun producing under his new alias of Core recently. Either way, he produces some serious dubstep tunes. 'Field of Vibrations' remains a favourite to this day, and was also featured on Get Darker's compilation album. His debut release as Core is a collaboration with Killawatt that came earlier this week on Artikal Music UK (J:Kenzo's label) and the vinyl pressing sold out almost instantly! As Core, he is exploring a much deeper dubstep sound, and has another forthcoming release on Aquatic Lab later in October. He's been getting support from the likes of Youngsta, Distance, N-Type and LX One. Check out his SoundCloud for a whole bunch of tunes, including a sweet Jack Sparrow collab!

HARBINGER:
Sussex Bass Society co-founder and resident DJ will be providing a wide variety of dubstep sounds on the night. He's supported the likes of Youngsta, Kryptic Minds and Cluekid and continues to play for a variety of different nights around Brighton as well as holding down a residency for local party starters Back Off.
