Glastonbury 2013

Post by Johnlenham » Fri Oct 05, 2012 1:05 pm

So Im attempting to get tickets on sunday, got a feeling it will be even harder then the past two times combined due to the year off though.
Last time it was 6 hours on 4 computers :corncry:

Anyone else going to attempt? I thought about not going but then its £220 for a week and the lineup + areas like shangri la are mad as fuck usually.

If I can do this +outlook/dimensions it should be a good year

ON THIS.... got low hopes tho...
The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it,

because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

We've registered, got a crew of 12 on the ticket thing. Two laptops, three phones all ready for it.

I'm not that fussed about going TBH.

There shouldn't be much lineup until at least April... that's the way it should be with Glastonbury. I couldn't give a fuck tbh... it's the best festival in the world.

Will be getting tickets for me, Viv (yes, we're already confident of making it to next June! ) and a couple of the housemates on Sunday... keep this thread updated with any useful links/backdoors! We'll all be on our laptops together pressing refresh incessantly!

Nope. Go look at last years and I bet you have more acts than you do hours in the day to see

Dance area also has awesome sound systems, something I didnt really notice till I went to other festivals.

Edit: http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/line-up-poster/ Though I told myself not to look as I bet there is loads I missed!

Also I like how easy it is to move about (apart from being fucking huge)
Go down the side of the crowd and along the front! boom front row for SBTRKT and Jamiexx!
Chemical brothers was intense..was tripping out and the laser show was blowing folks minds
I think I may lose the plot this time as Im waaaay more clued up on who to see than last time.

Ooohh shit! going to watch that tonight! Some of my best memories are from the after hours stuff.
That club with a tube train crashed through the roof that has coloured strip lighting on the roof from front to back
Clubs inside crashed and on fire cargo planes
Arcadias Spider is just beyond words
Fish and tits :cornlol:
The place thats like a twisted circus.

I wasnt that bothered about going but now ive made this thread and thought about it im hyped!

Yeah Block9 is the one with the train sticking out of the front, saw Youngsta in there last year after a 2 hour walk to get there, was fucking sick.
