Here's another new track I finished a few days ago. This one has a quirky vibe, but other than that I'm not sure how to classify it
Soundcloud
Enjoy!

Liking the sounds here, but the beat got a bit repetitive after nearly 4mins of the same pattern.

Heh, I generally do use the same beat throughout the whole track for most of my stuff

Thanks for listening
I used to record all my beats from my synth, so they were all audio, but I'm trying to move away from that and using midi programmed beats now, to force myself to stop using the same beat. Bad habit I guess

Bit of variation/switch up on the drum programming would work wonders IMO. Either vary some of the elements later on, or else switch up the programming so that you've got a different rhythm playing for certain bars.

Thanks for the tips, I'm currently trying more drum variation with a new track I'm working on. I think I'll be able to slowly break those old habits
