Been working hard to get my drums sound more interesting and this definitely helped. Getting to see the grid and hear each clip after adding another sound was really nice. Looking forward to more of these

I noticed though it said swing 50%. i know about the groove engine but i always though you had to make the beat first then commit to a groove, i didnt know you could write a pattern with the groove already there? how do i put the groove on before programming? Its kind of confusing cause in FL the time bar moved in swing so i knew when it was swinging.

yeah its a little confusing but at 50% its actually no swing at all. +/- it will add positive swing or negative

Had a question. I've seen from your other tutorials that you use Logic, did you just use Ableton for this tutorial or do you usually make your beats in Ableton and bring them into Logic?

For the sake of the tutorial I used ableton because the clip grid is clearer. The piano roll is also labelled which helps too! But yeah logic is my bread and butter
