Corrupted Project File O_O
I am literally about to cry.
FL isn't letting me open up one of my tracks, and all I have that remains of it is an mp3 bounce I did last minute late last night. WHAT DO!? Is there any way I could turn that into a wav without a noticeable drop in quality? What do you guys think? Asking here because I'm worried about the technical issues with the song being in the wrong file format.
Did this basically kill any chance of my tune going on a good label or being taken seriously?

If it's a 320, it's not as good as a wav but it's somewhat close. Better than nothing. I wouldn't convert it though, instead play the MP3 and record it to wav via the stereo mix option in a DAW ('what you hear').
If it's lower quality than 320, I'd just live with it and take it as a lesson learned. A few project of mine from 7 or 8 years ago that I really wish I could work on or have a high quality render of because I like them a lot have been lost and all I have are 192Kbit MP3s. From now on only render 320 and wav.
You can try this, it has worked for a lot of people when it becomes corrupted from errors in the file headers: http://sourceforge.net/projects/flprecovery/files/
I don't know if that still works on new versions, or if it has been updated... seems abandoned. You can also try to fix it yourself via a hex editor, I have successfully fixed corrupted files with header issues that way.

FL 10?
Go to your projects folder, back up a bit. There's one called 'Backup' (IIRC, can check at home) that autosaves every now and then. Unless you told it not to, in which case, derp, lol.

Freshest track atm.

this. Also "Save as new version" every now and then helps in many cases, if you want to go back and do something differently etcMaxxan wrote:FL 10?

Re: Corrupted Project File O_O
I had the problem a while ago that one of my project files corrupted, and only found this out once I had worked on a bunch of other stuff, which then proceded override the backup of the one that actually got corrupted. Luckily I'd bounced most of the synths so that wasn't an issue...

most people who are reason heads use it for the synths since they learn them and another DAW for arrangement and mixdownNevalo wrote:cokis been using logic for awhile, and icicle uses logic for his mixdown.Hircine wrote:I think Coki and Icicle have a different opinion on thatAttila wrote:It's doesn't do anything else eitherAxeD wrote:Reason doesn't do this.
