Looking for samples

Post by GorillamenNYC » Sat Oct 20, 2012 4:06 pm

I'm looking for reggae/dub sample.
Mainly vocal, acapella and sound FX.
Does anyone know where I can download good one as free?

I get a bunch of errors decompressing your file, alot of the files have their name as the extension

For example _.808

If you are in UK get computer music magazine. EVen if you get a couple of issues a year they are great. They come with masterclasses from top producers, free software (freeware and demos) about 2k royalty free samples per issue and lots of other cool sh*t.

Hey 1stfiest, some of those samples are pretty cool, thanks for that man. Where'd they come from, as in are they okay to use in a commercial production?

They are all royalty free from future music magazine and computer music magazine =) Some of the vocal shouts are from a rack and ruin package but i believe they are royalty free aswell. im pretty sure royalty free means that you can do whatever you like with them. some sound manipulation would put you ahead of the rest though =)

Yeah I usually try to mask everything as much as possible just to be safe lol. Well as long as they're from an actual sample pack and not ripped from a track or something it should be fine, no one is going to know what I bought or not anyway. Thanks bro, much appreciated!

(DSF, of course I only inquire about this so that if the situation should arise where I find myself looking to use one of these samples, I could if needed purchase said sample pack. No funny business here. Move along)
