I've been doing pretty welll with it lately but ive ran into my production wall. Drop rythem. Ive got everything but drops. My drops sound like an empty wad of sounds. I cant get a good flowing rythem with them. If anyone knows of a legitament indepth video or guide please share im desperate. Sorry for any typos im in school on a shitty phone atm. Heres one of my more recent songs. All feedback wanted especially negative. Be mature about it

Maybe spend as much time on the kick pattern, hats, rides, little shuffles etc as you do on those mid range noises, the midrange and low end completely drain out any hint of a beat.

I need some kind of never ending guide on drops that explain every detail of a drop. not how to make it but how its designed like what sounds go where to make rhythm, that also make it sound full.

Bump - I still can't figure out what's going wrong. Like my sounds don't mix togethere it just sounds like a bunch of electronic mashup. I need to know how to 1: Make a more complex melody with more voices that doesn't sound too busy. and 2: how to get flow in a drop . (sound flow, getting everything to blend etc..)

sit down and think about what sounds you want to be emphasized in the track, start with just those and bring down all the other components of the track to zero and then rebuild the mix to support those parts of the song. be sure to use compression and dont mix at a loud volume. as for the drop i dont know..

I thought the drop was pretty good, man. I love the synths that come directly after them, especially. In my opinion though, a drop isn't really defined, because I have seen a lot of artists take new and interesting turns with their music. It comes down to what feels awesome, you know? Let the new synths drag in on an automation maybe, let the bass smack rock bottom while the voice file plays, you know? I wish I knew a video for the drops, but honestly, it all comes from the artist. Good song though, maybe up the ante on the drum work, but other than that, I enjoyed the song a lot.
