anyone else loving their MPC Ren?

Post by coogcoo » Tue Oct 23, 2012 6:23 pm

traded in my 5000 for some cash + a Ren and i feel like its one of the best deals i've ever gotten.. loving my new workflow; make the beat on the mpc, save it, open logic and then boot ren into it as an 8xout and mixdown/arrange into a song. to the people who are saying the 1300 dollars is too much for a controller, it's worth every penny, i've literally cut my session times in half with it.

anyone else pick one up??

btw i have owned a 60, a 60II, a 3000LE and (obv) a 5k and this is BY FAR my favorite mpc... :U:

do you just use the padkontrol as 16 pads basically? for someone whose familiar with mpc workflow ren is soooo much more than that..

I don't have a ren, but I do have an excellent set of mpc groove templates.
