COMMODO/LURKA 'AIRTIGHT' + BENNY PAGE 'TEMPO' BASS SOUND

Post by Sykes » Wed Oct 24, 2012 11:13 pm

Anyone got any ideas on how to create the high pitched growling bass sound at 01.50/51 in 'Airtight' by Commodo and Lurka:

Similar kind of sound can be heard in 'Tempo' by Benny page from 0.27 onwards:

I'm using Reason. if anyone has any idea how to recreate this sound let me know or knows any good sample packs with a similar kind of sound let me know. Thanks!

get a nice sounding reese, comb filter, high mids and highs with a really quick delay followed by either a small plate reverb or a flanger to get that metallic sound, use a LP filter to get the opening motion to the sound.
