cheers for the feedback der MAC. yeah it's quite noisey with the live drum breaks- which i know flys in the face of dubsteps' sparse sound. It's all about experimentation at the moment for me. Love it on the rare occasions when new genres spring up - everythings open to interpritation.

Nice work. Some good experiemtnal sounding beats, nice layers and good little melodies. I can definatly see the angle you're coming from. Watch those crash cymbals in enkoded as they are dominating a bit, you could maybe just take some out to add diversity, also sounds strange at the end of the phrase when they are cut out/chopped.

I'm not feeling vibes as much, i don't like that downwards arpeggio but i like the vocal, long long intro this can be cut to 32 and it would have a lot more impact as it is a nice drop when it happens. from the drop to where the arpeddio comes back the track is heavy and the breakdown is nice. Listening through all this i really like this track too just not that arpeddio which messes the track up and the intro is detrimental to the rest of the track. Cut it down and lose the arpeddio and it is a hit for me.

I've added you on myspace and will keep a close eye on future stuff!. Well done!

opps, it is my quick typing!! i meant arpeggio. It's like a spread chord |(or in yourcase like a downwards series of notes.

Like playing the notes of a chord one at a time in sequence.

Your stuff sounds good but it's hard to tell from the low bitrate myspace shit... can you post proper files?

Yep, nice stuff. Enkoded is a good sound - I miss that 'stream of hiss-oh wait it's the cymbals' sound... Very cool. Lovely choir in there, too. Not too 'Carmina Burana' more 'Nightmare on Elm St.', heh.

Only thing - the distorted synth stabs at :40 sound too muffled to me, especially on the lower pitches. Open the filter a bit, although that might require a touch of EQ to stay out of the way of the cymbals?

Agreed on the arpeggio in Vibes, btw.

ah i know what you mean - thats a sample from the 70's tv series 'Monkey' haha. Yeah if I lose that I'll need some kind of chords to replace them...will have a play.

cool - will have a go on the eq. its been a bit of a chalange to seperate the sounds on this tune - its like a big wall of sound when the cybals kick in - tricky to get the balance, will percervire though.

nice1

hey dude. I'm on the outskirts actually, but it looks cooler to say you in brighton.

Are you involved in the brighton dubstep nights then?. I've been meaning to check them out but I've very recently became and dad - plus i've had tinitus has kick in a few months back which has kept me away.

Will be checking it when i get the chance, very soon.
