SCIENCE!
Who holds your interest and makes you amazed with the world you live in now? The vids over an hour I just link seem like mere minutes to me as the people speaking are genius and eloquent speakers.
I also miss Sagan, apparently Tyson and the guy who does Family Guy funding, may do a new Cosmos bringing back Sagan's legacy.
Thoughts?
Also how many are still following the Mars rover and info/pics from it?
Curiosity has found some cool stuff already.

Re: SCIENCE!
I'd also like to mention it's sad Hitchens is dead as he was a great speaker as well.

Re: SCIENCE!
We didn't stop having dreams. But we dream for different things now. We dream of having a job, oh having a home to live in, dream of not being victims of crime, dream of living in a world where parents can raise their children. Honestly, fuck the cities of tomorrow, fuck the origin of the universe, shit is meaningless unless we can reestablish a hard working, moral, educated middle class.deadly habit wrote:When did we stop having dreams?

Re: SCIENCE!
It pains me to say this, but that isn't a science. 'Knowledge' in that field rarely lasts more than 5 years. More like anthropology food.test recordings wrote:I studied psychology for four years and can't get enoughtopmo3 wrote:m8son wrote:anyone who 'fucking loves science' has not spent the last 3 years doing a degree in it

I'm with that
but couldn't you find some peace in the idea that we sort of have
evidence that capitalism doesn't govern properly on a global scale and that we are flock animals/ social beings, meaning all progression might have to come from that fact?
