"Power" (EXCISION/DATSIK Inspired Bass)

Whats up DSF I have been producing for 2 months now and I've been listening to a lot of Datsik and Excision lately so my sound design is mostly inspired by them. Although I will admit that my track does sound a bit basic due to a lack of sound design experience. I will appreciate any and all constructive criticism. You need way more weight on the drums, and use clearer samples. Sound design is alright, but i wouldn't use reverb or whatever that is on the bassline.

Well pretty much what has already been said. Except I wouldn't say clearer samples I would say completely different samples. I'm not sure if clarity was the issue but the snares just don't sound right for what you are going for. Definitely turn the bass down just a bit in the mix and take whatever reverb/delay/flanger you have on it off.
Besides that I think what you have from a musical perspective is good it just doesn't sound all the way there yet. I hope you can take what has been said and improve upon it because I do think you have a good style to it. Good luck!
