Intro is nice, like that silence before the drop. Brostep isn't really my thing, so not vibing the midrange so much. Kick doesn't seem to be smacking all that hard, maybe like it's over compressed and losing some of it's power as a result?

Sort dem drums out. Since you're making a heavy tune, that beat has to bang. I'd spend a lot of time just on the percussion, you will find it makes a lot of difference to your final output.
Melodic deepness from my mind.

i may have over compressed the kick drum... trying something new to get it hitting harder, il try something else to get it bangin proper.
more percussive elements in my beats sounds like a good idea . il try and get the levels of my track in order so everything is hitting where it should and the drums should be heard i think a lot ! haha time to hit the studio  feedback much appreciated ! things i needed to hear

Yeah, over compression strips the character off a sound and can actually make things worse as a result of losing some of the transients. Maybe look at creating space for the kick through some subtractive EQing/sidechaining on the other elements as opposed to compressing it quite so much?

Sidechaining the kick to the sub bass is always a good idea, especially if you have a huge, boomy and powerful kick. If you don't, whenever your kick hits, the entire low end of your track will sound like shite, as all the frequencies fight for space.

This video explains it

thanks for the tips guys it is sidechain compressed with my sounds . not all of them just the pads and basses .. lol yea when i was mixing it through my rok it 8's on traktor with my s4 i heard the weakness in the kick i didnt hear when i was making it in reason i didnt know how much of an impact compressing it would do to it :dunce: . i think il try more automation with the sidechain compression, maybe some distortion or another layer on top of the kick .. idk or just put in a different kick lol working on another track right now , kinda tired of that one myself aha well thanks for the feedback guys much appreciated
