Greatest Mixes of All Time (any genre)

Post by karmacazee » Thu Nov 15, 2012 11:06 pm

I don't really listen to, or note down enough mixes/mixtapes/mixed albums. So let's compile the ultimate list ninja's.

Some of my faves:

Fabriclive 19 - Freestylers

James Lavelle - Barcelona

Rae & Cristian - Blazin' the crop

Hatcha - Dubstep Allstars #1

And a Sasha one I can never remember the name of....

And about a million others I'll never remember the names of. I'm crap at remembering music :/

Also, who was that guy who was doing a mix every day for a year and putting them up on his website? some of them were amazing! Especially the old school 92 rave ones.

First few gems that come to mind:

Original Series OS_0.2 mixed by Jonathan Lisle
Rockers Hi-Fi - DJ Kicks: The Black Album
X-Press 2 - Late Night Sessions 2
Andrew Weatherall - Hypercity
Slimzee - Bingo Beats vol. 3

and that's just on CD!

edit: damn. having a dig reveals that i own a lot of mix CDs lol and damn there are a lot of mix CDs in general. Can't even begin to think about the digital mixes.

Not a massive fan of Daft Punk but their Essential Mix is the greatest of all time
