Zebra 2. Seriously. Check out all the demos. IMO Zebra 2 beats the others hands down. Z3ta can be quite digital in it's sound, zebra's sound engine (from U-He) sounds AMAZING and honestly the nicest analogue sounding engine I've come across rivaled only by Diva (also from U-HE). you can do everything in Zebra that you can in Z3ta but Z3ta doesn't allow you true control over waveform creation, where Zebra completely excels in beyond any other synth. Massive is ok but is getting quite old now in terms of new wave synths. Zebra is just so much better than massive on so many levels it isn't even a question and out of all the options you've mentioned only Zebra allows modular patch building. It's a no brainer imo. Getting Zebra2 you won't be disappointed with your purchase at all as it has everything.

If you're going for versatility and an all-in-one synth you can use in a great variety of situations, then go for Zebra2.

U-He is currently working on Zebra 3, and it will have zero delay feedback filters like Diva! Can't wait for this.

since i cant afford great synths like this i use my DAW like a modular synth and modular is the best approach of making sounds IMO.
the only thing iv always liked about massive is the ease of modulating parameters quickly but tbh i prefer to have infinite flexibility and have 100% control like zebra2 allows.
there might be a chance of you creating better sounds in massive since its so easy to use..
if i was you i would demo these two and see what works for you

I'd also say Zebra 2.
I have Zeta 2 and Massive.
Having played with Zebralette and Zebra 2 on a friend's machine, I can agree with folks in here regarding the sound.
But why not go the free zebralette route to see what it is capable of.

Zeta 2 doesn't come with a demo unfortunately.
Bad move on the part of Cakewalk imo.
I bought it because of experience with zeta 1.

but as everyone said, Zebra is insanely good.
