FL Studio 10 and DBlue Glitch

Post by IrOnPUdDiNg » Sun Dec 16, 2012 5:47 pm

Hey guys,

So, I'll get straight to the point. I'm trying to use DBlue Glitch for a track in FL Studio and it doesn't work half the time.
The problem is that the effects either play from where the sound starts or when the entire pattern starts. This is an issue for me because I have multiple sounds coming in at different times. So, I ask of you: how do I fix this?

I used the search engine and I didn't find any results related to what I'm having trouble with, so sorry if there is already a thread about this.
Thanks,
~IrOnPUdDiNg

I had this problem before, i just ended up getting moving the clip till it sounded like i wanted it to and bouncing it down.

I have a thread here discussing the track, and offering you the chance to remix it, more details in thread! See what you can come up with!

If I understood you correctly, the source of the problem is that dblue glitch triggers effects relative to what time in the playlist you are at.

As you see from this picture, it starts at 2 in the playlist, and you see where it starts in dblue glitch. There's no way of fixing this as far as I know, maybe automate the wet/dry in FL between a couple of instances where the effects are triggered at the time you like?

Experienced this in Ableton too, annoying as shit. Honestly though I've come to find that most of the glitch plugins' (dBlue, Effectrix...) features can be done manually without too much extra effort. This also allows for more picky tweaking. However, those plugins can be handy to just get some ideas rolling.

Heya! :) I had this problem for a long time too and I finally came to a solution.. The problem is exactly the fact that dblue glitch's pattern starts on audio input, so if, for example, you have a 16 beats pattern with 1st audio input on 4th beat, that will screw dblue glitch synch moving it backwards of 4 beats.
To solve this I always give an audio input to dblue glitch on every 1st beat of any pattern in which i'm using it, you can mute whatever you play with a plain volume automation so that it won't change the final result, but this way dblue glitch will actually start when it's meant to :)
Hope this will be useful! ;-)
