lol joker, do you want to elaborate?

@Muncey yea it's kinds odd all that Swamp 81 sound a mix between house/ electronica and dubstep, seems pretty popular at the moment tho. Never thought I would see Pinch n them move on to house.

Yeah, Pinch did release one of the essential pure dubstep albums of 2012 and tectonic hasn't released any dubstep clearly with VIVEK, Grenier, Distance, Gemmy?!
Also, if 2012 was the year Pinch 'started' doing house, you've clearly been living under a rock since what, 09-10?
EatsEverything? Suggest you visit the House forum on here mate, you've been missing out.

Also, Nero top dubstep? What the motherfuck? No sorry, I disagree with pretty much everything in that post. To each their own and all

Nero  Why do they feel the need to put that painful white noise hiss in every fucking track?

I'm with bRRz on this, Reso. Also Submotion Orchestra, Disclosure, Burial and KOAN Sound.

@Joeki why whats everyone saying re: Eats Everything?

Yeah I'm sticking with Nero, they just seem to be the most consistent, you cant fault their debut album last year. Maybe this year they havent released so much because they've been on some nuts world tour it seems (lucky f*cks lol). A lot of the other sounds I'm hearing get annoying after a while and no other artist properly stands out. I'm a massive fan of the filthy dubstep too tho... Mutated Mindz Freak train got dropped in every set for a few months (most of the EP tbh). Badklaat, Hizzleguy etc. Shiverz (in terms of DJ'ing still always tops it, the guy is sick).

Everyone guns down Ajapai saying his tunes are too overproduced but I reckon they're top class. Mobilized VIP is still one of my favourite tunes and it still absolutely goes off at any rave I drop it at.

Haha maybe I have been under a rock since 09-10 Joeki, or maybe I've only just now started taking more notice of the house scene, especially of what Pinch is putting out there in clubs etc. Not a fan of that dark weighty house music but it's interesting to see it developing either way.

I dunno man, I could fault the shit out of their debut album. Corny, over-the-top, repetitive, noisy mess that it was.

Yeah I hate that dark, weighty, 140 house shit.

@Maccaveli - I guess it depends on what you're after, yeah the vocals do border on corny but they're tunes designed to be dropped on big systems, festivals and all that. Innocence, Me and You & Crush on You got rinsed by everyone and probably sounds repetitive because all the radios massively overplayed their tunes.

I only heard Promises on the radio down here in Australia, I just mean that 9/10 songs on that album were pretty much variations on Innocence. And thanks for reminding me of Crush On You, easily ranks in my top 5 worst dubstep tunes ever. How anyone could enjoy that ear-raping synth is beyond me.

Yeah its fair enough everyone has their views, personally I wouldnt go out to a rave to check Reso, Submotion Orchestra, Burial or KOAN Sound because I think their tunes are boring, I'd listen to them before going to bed or something... Disclosure are heavy though, theyre up there with my favourite producers atm! It's just whatever your tastes are I guess... Seems the general consensus is that no one likes Nero though haha

Haha... Yeah to be fair I can fall asleep with jungle in the earphones. I take it back re: Reso his tunes are pretty good. That glitchy Koan Sound style proper does my head in though!
