EDM Music. Please give me feedback!

Post by Ratstab » Mon Jan 14, 2013 1:53 am

Hello, I just released my first few songs ever, and I would like to know what you guys think of them. I tried to make it sound very professional. Any feedback is much appreciated, especially from experienced producers.
Thanks.

Memories:
Pretty nice intro. "very proffesional sound' is mostly mixing. You have no mixing here mate. Snare is too loud, synths are hidden somewhere there. Some nice chord prog there, with better mixing this tune could be quite nice.
Spiders'n'stuff:
Nice high pitched wobble at the beginning, but later everything is muddy.
Well, you have really nice tracks mate, but shit mix. Read about it a little, mix your tracks properly, and they will be really good.

Thanks for the feedback. I tried to mix it, but it is definitely not my strong point. Any suggestions for good mixing tutorials?

You just gotta get the levels right so that nothing is overpowering anything else.

Read this article, and look for the compression article on that site as well.

At any rate, the songs sound pretty cool.
