Hey everyone, just finished this new track would appreciate some feedback. Its a darker style 150 bpm jump-up dubstep tune.

You have some really nice midrange sounds going on but imo you've forgotten the fundamental rules when producing tunes.

Midrange is totally overpowering the drum beat imo.
I hear the sub through out but the drums are softer in the mix than they should be.
Drum variation would also be good.

Thanks for the feedback man, yeah that was one thing that was bugging me. I revised the mix like 5 times and thought it was better to stop messing with it before i made it worse. I overthink mixing i think, all i need is a simple EQ rather than exiciters compressors etc.

I'm not sure if it's just me but the kick also sounds very clicky/hissy over being a good thump.
But I'm not sure what your goal is.

Agree with EH, the midrange is dominating the mix a bit too much.

thanks for the tip guys, i made sure to mix around my drums for my next tune and they are sounding much better this time around.
