Loefah - "Veal" Free Download From Swamp!

Post by rev » Mon Jan 28, 2013 8:39 pm

Sooo. is this in fact the new Loefah dub? It's been so long, that somebody might not believe it.
When listening through the lates Swamp81 show, I thought this sounds an awful lot like something Loefah could have made.... Chunky didn't say much on the show, but Zed Bias has apparently confirmed on twitter, when the show was live (check the Swamp thread). Wud do u tink?

Mod edit: http://www.swamp81.com/mp3/Veal.zip <<<<------- Enjoy!

I actually think Scuba can hit a jackpot once in a while, when he doesnt go all out techno, and mix up UKG and house flavors like this: Soundcloud
and yes I know this one is old, and I havent heard anything better from him recently...

btw, sorry for terrible quality og the Loefah clip, some youtube compression destroyed it - here is the original clip (which I think sounds pretty good), which I made the video from: http://www.mediafire.com/?263l9outoef2ekc

I came here dreaming of some 140 magic from him but knew it wouldn't happen. Not really into the swamp sound but this sound excellent.

The small part where it goes "tune tune tune tune..." is kinda cool but the rest just sounds pretty flat. We'll see

That sample seemed quite out of place. Would have loved to hear it in a 140 track, but in a house one it sounds weird.

I thought this one was quite the tune when i heard it the first time - didn't think it was Loefah though... When this was aired the first time on SWAMP81 back in december Chunky mentioned something like: "This one is by some very special members of the SWAMP81 family" - which made me think it was by zed and chunky maybe... But yes, if this one is Loefah, then go on keep doing this - i think it hits the sound pretty good, and i like the ragga/grime vibes of the sample.

might both be by loefah, the bass synth sounds pretty similar in them

I have to admit as much as im not a house fan, i actually think this tune is somewhat decent dunno if thats because its loefah, i can imagine it would go pretty hard though.
