music to be inspired by

Post by Eat Bass » Wed Feb 27, 2013 6:41 am

im sick of all this rigid electronic music lately. its so lackluster and robotic.

watching this really inspired me. take a listen to this song and watch his future music episode. a total inspiration and a genius with a mad method to his madness.

nothing really to do with that song or video you posted, but in keeping with the thread topic, thought i'd share some Thriftworks. he recently put out a free album on his bandcamp and is starting to get the attention he deserves. really can't recommend this guy enough, his level of production is absolutely mindblowing...it's at once inspiring yet so good it kinda makes me never want to produce again

if you think this tune by itself isn't super impressive or something, check out his other stuff. he's really one of the most fluid and breathtaking producers iv ever heard. hope you guys enjoy it.

It's from the albums "In An Aeroplane, Over the Sea" ...which I lived on for a glorious summer fueled by brick weed, cheap beer and not enough hours at work.

That James Holden track: Lump is pretty cool. It reminds me a lot of Vitalic - Poney Part one in the way that it has a sick bass hook and because it really doesn't feel like it goes anywhere. Plus that intro is awful I almost gave up and went on to something else.
