Loopmasters hmmm
I know I've been blowing this section of the forum up but honestly the members of this forum have anwsered every single question so far that i thought would never be anwsered (lack of in depth tutorials) SOOOOO.....
I've been looking at some packs on the loopmasters (dubstep) and I'm tempted to buy a couple of the packs, but sample packs that require money usually get shit ratings..
I've obtained some pieces of the "Monster volume 1 pack" from collabs and I like most of what I hear. The sound quality is great but it seems like alot of the samples have that harsh over-distorted sound in them that can't polished out.
If anyone uses loopmasters for packs, which packs are worth the dollar sign?
If not, fuck it my collection of kits/packs is already enormous, I'm just looking for some newer samples to fuck around with.

Re: Loopmasters hmmm
I bought the moombahton one to experiment with the genre for fun, and was extremely disappointed. Shitty massive patches that were poorly designed, shit vengeance-like drum samples, and the drum loops that it came with it were comprised of only the samples it came with, as well as synth loops that were made with the massive patches the pack came with. The last thing in it were some vocal loops, which consisted of chopped up and detuned vengeance one-shots.Dj Rephlex wrote:I know I've been blowing this section of the forum up but honestly the members of this forum have anwsered every single question so far that i thought would never be anwsered (lack of in depth tutorials) SOOOOO.....

Seems tempting just to mess around with, but that money could go towards better things.

My tip: don't buy genre orientated packs, all you'll end up doing is sounding like the stereotype of that genre.

Re: Loopmasters hmmm
loopmasters get a bit of hate but they give out tonnes and tonnes of samples, so a few of those samples are actually very good.
even though its a lot of effort i download every free sample i can from loopmasters, check which packs are license free (if an attached .txt says DEMO LICENSE it means you can't use it unless you buy), search out any free giveaways theyve done and delete all the shit samples.
if you dig i guarantee you'll find quality stuff regardless of genre.
primeloops have a 2gb giveaway on facebook if you press like.
also i rarely use samples but when you have tonnes and sort them it can only benefit you.
