Liking the chords in the intro and the way the beat and vocal arrive. Hi hats sound a little on the stark side, like they're crisper than everything around them. Bass is nice and warm, feeling the vibes on this.

Nice melodic intro, could throw in a few teasers (subtle perc licks) but I guess overall structure wise you can have plenty of room for similar minimal breakdowns. Warm drop, as said could crispen up the hats and I found the bass a bit too loud in the mix - just my thoughts wicked preview though will check out other tunes!

Upon relistening to this I just feel like the intro needs a small dash of one-hit something with a bit of reverb to give it that tiny little bit of extra movement (it feels like a really slow pace, mind you the slow pace and calmness of the intro is really adding alot to the impact of the drop i think).
When this drops though its excellent. Throroughly enjoying this still 3 plays in. Fantastic job, I would love hear the full version sir, inbox?

I feel like this is the best track I've listenned to in here in the past 2 days. This is just a bump to help it float up top because this place needs more positive moves and this track deserves attention.

Would agree that the hats sound a little loud at the beginning. I really dig the old school dubstep vibe meshing with the vocals. Kinda brings to mind a sad scene in a movie where a guy has just been dumped and is wandering around the streets in the rain.

quality stuff man, dont even have any criticism for this. good to see a variety of stuff from you too, that grime tune from a while ago was big!
edit: maybe make the mids a bit more interesting?

definitely a solid start man, when the beat kicks in full it works very well. i like how the vocal samples and the piano have a sort of conversational flow to them. I would say that your highs could go down just a tad and add a bit more incidental percussion and youd be set
big up
