Space Laces...

Hey guys,

Anyone know how to go about this sound at 1:22, the huge wet growl sound


Sounds almost feed me ish, can't get anything like it :u:

The pitch bend which is really prevalent on the sub makes it sound a lot bigger to me too - take that into accout :W:

Try Massive - pick something like Scrapyard/Crude/Deep Throat etc. on bend +/- mode and a Saw or Square layered an octave underneath. Link an LFO or Macro to the WT pos and intensity of OSC 1, mess with Phase/Position mods too (link the LFO/Macro to this too) and also sine/parabolic shaper. Lots of possibilities. Then just layer a fat sub underneath and mimic any pitchbends.

That isn't it at all. That'll get you Massive's usual metallic shit. Space Lace's bass is extremely wet and clean. More than likely FM.

I've also read he uses Sytrus for this sort of stuff, may have been on his Twitter.
