Turntable needle problem

so i let my friend try an fix my sound with my receiver 2 months ago but he didn't end up fixing it i decided to try n fix it today but i found this when i tried to play a record an test the sound :(

(sorry for the bad picture)

i was wondering if this was fixable or not, or if i had to buy another needle :( or if my weight on my arm was too much or something.

Looks like you'll need a new needle. You can usually work out what the problem is by swapping stylus/headshells and seeing if it's the same.
