I've tried googling this but I'm desperate at this point.
Basically I made this kick drum sound in fm8. I want any note in the midi clip to trigger a pre-determined note for fm8. For example C3 may sound good as a kick drum sound. But when you take it down to C2 it sounds muddy. (pretty obvious) How to I limit the midi fm8 will take or something so that it only spits out C2 no matter what note it gets. Something to do with keyscaling???
This should be simple but for some reason its incredibly confusing!

it seems like even if I place the instance of fm8 on the C3 cell in drumrack it still plays at different pitches... I can set drum rack I/o to "all".. and output c3/ But it still seems to play higher notes when i hit higher notes.
