The pair of UK veterans operating under Kryptic Minds have been delivering dark and sinister productions for over a decade now, and have churned out another batch of such tunes recently with the Namaste EP on their own imprint Osiris Music. This latest release showcases Kryptic Minds' prowess within the realm of deep textures that only relics from Dubstep's original heyday seem to be able to replicate. As flagship artists on the in vogue Swamp 81 label and with their cable mix being voted Best Mix in the 2013 Dubstep Forum awards there is no doubt those wanting to hear Dubstep in its truest form will be in for a treat.

Kahn's debut release 'Like We Used To' (Punch Drunk) is a firm Submit favourite, with it's catchy garage feel/vocals balanced with serious bass weight what was there not to love? Following up this 2011 release was the deep dark and minimal Dubstep anthem 'Way Mi Defend' (Box Clever) and another Punch Drunk release 'Illy', cementing his reputation as a top class producer with an unparalleled ability to make dancefloor tracks that get your sound system shaking. His most recent release the 'Kahn EP' was out on the Black Box imprint and features the track 'Badman City' showcasing this Bristol boys take on dark & heavy grime/dubstep with Flowdan providing some sinister vocals on top. Kahn is also a big supporter of the vinyl format and as a DJ performs strictly with Vinyl records and dubplates.

Sitting up there at no. 3 in the 'Best Producer' category in the Dubstep Forum 2013 awards - Biome's productions are tightly coiled, deep Dubstep weapons built to destroy dancefloors. Highlights from his impressive catalogue include 'Two Way' EP on Black Box recordings and ‘Propaganda’ on Osiris music. Biome is recognized both for his ability as a first-rate DJ and for his spacious, dark & atmospheric half-step sound. Sure to be a big hit at Submit, below is his much-hyped PYC mix.

•••• KAIJU ••••
‘Best new producer’ in the 2013 Dubstep Forum awards, Kaiju have made a monumental impact on the scene in the past year. Since their hefty Fat Kid on Fire mix hitting second place in the Forum’s ‘Best mix/podcast’ category, Kaiju were instantly headhunted by headline act, Kryptic Minds who have unleashed them onto the scene aboard their Osiris imprint. With the bellowing subs and bleak vocals of Close Break / Belcanto, Kryptic couldn’t get enough of Kaiju, wrapping up 2012 with the minimal vibrations of Silverfish / Lone Wolf. The duo were not interested in a breather, entering 2013 with a huge exclusive mix for HEDMUK revealing a wealth of their own fresh dubs we have only to anticipate. With the close support of none other than Youngsta, the eagerly anticipated release - ‘Hunter ft. Flowdan’ will be yet another in a solid catalogue of works from Osiris music in 2013. In all honesty words don’t do these guys justice – have a listen for yourself!
