Everything sounds very dry, some verb on the drums, hats, and that wobbly lead would probably liven the track up a little. the sub needs more octave layering or just something to make it pop. In this kind of track you wanna feel that sub in your chest.

Thanks for the feedback. After doing some research I'm realizing that my sub notes aren't where they should be so I'll fix that later.

Alright so I fixed the sub bass, it should be knocking out chestplates now as the notes hit from 33-42hz whereas before they were hitting 65-82hz because of a mistake on my part :u:. I changed the mid-range wobble part quite a bit and it sounds way better now I think and I also spruced up the drums.

So anyone interested give it a peep :4:!

ok i think the drums are a bit static - i think the midrange sounds like it ruins the sub cuz it sounds pretty weighty...

True, I wasn't using velocity at all on the drums in this tune but I just changed that which helped a lot. But I don't see how the mid range could be conflicting with the sub. The sub hits from 32-41hz while the mid range hits at 130hz and up and the kick sits a bit below that. Nothing is anywhere near the sub :o.

You need to build a whole lot more atmosphere to this. Drums sound very weak as they are, get some subtle reverb on them to help bring them to life. I think what Krease was trying to say is that the mid range wobble is very generic, and ruins the power of the sub bass. It doesn't conflict at all, but IMO I'd at least try that wobble an octave lower cos right now it's too high and just sounds cheddar!

That makes more sense, I dropped the mid range wobble down an octave and changed the patch for it quite a bit; I like it way better now.
