Yes,
Look into setting key commands. It can really speed up your work flow.
And consider getting a 2nd monitor so you can have your arrange page on one and track mixers on the other. It makes it very easy to see if anything is clipping.
Also have a think about getting a good book on Logic as it is pretty deep.

Yes and then no and now yes again
. Lost my powerbook to an engineering flaw and they wanted waay too much to fix it. So I just got a new dell for the same price. Started using ableton live and various other stuff and little things would always just drive me insane with them. Every program did at least one major thing backwards that would just make it a pain in the ass to use (IMO). But now I'm a proud owner of a hackintosh
and I can run Logic again and I can't remember how I ever lived without it. Everything in it is just.. well... logical albeit a bit hard to learn
. Hyper edit is just completely genius.
